On 5 September, NUSTALGIC was represented at AgroSemana 2026 – Feira Agrícola do Norte, held at Espaço AGROS in Póvoa de Varzim, Portugal.
The project was represented by the Plant Nutrition and Biotechnology Lab (PlanTech) group from the Escola Superior de Biotecnologia, Universidade Católica Portuguesa, through a stand showcasing NUSTALGIC alongside other research projects and initiatives.
The event provided an opportunity to share NUSTALGIC's work on neglected and underutilised crops, soil health, water management and agricultural diversification with farmers, companies, researchers, organisations and the wider public.
NUSTALGIC Coordinator Marta Wilton Vasconcelos also participated as an invited speaker, presenting research initiatives contributing to more sustainable and resilient agricultural systems.
AgroSemana provided an important space for strengthening connections between research and the agricultural community and for discussing how scientific innovation can respond to real challenges across the agricultural and agri-food sectors.
